Call for Applications: Business Development & Fundraising Manager

Main Purpose of the Job The Business Development & Fundraising Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, securing funding, and building strategic partnerships to support STEMlens Network’s mission. This role oversees sponsorship acquisition, grant proposals, and industry collaborations to ensure financial sustainability and program expansion.

Main Responsibilities
The consultant will work closely with CSRT’s team to analyze qualitative and quantitative data gathered across multiple organizational domains and provide actionable insights that will inform strategic planning.
1. Corporate & Industry Partnerships.
  • Develop and manage relationships with corporate sponsors, NGOs, and government bodies.
  • Negotiate long-term sponsorship deals that align with STEMlens Network’s strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to enhance brand positioning for partnerships.

2. Business Growth & Revenue Strategy.
  • Identify and develop new revenue-generating opportunities for STEM programs and initiatives.
  • Expand STEMlens offerings to new markets and audiences to increase financial sustainability.
  • Work with the Finance & Operations Manager to ensure revenue targets are met.

3. Fundraising & Grant Management.
  • Research and apply for grants, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
  • Develop compelling grant proposals and sponsorship pitches to secure funding.
  • Oversee donor stewardship, ensuring transparency and long-term engagement.

4. Marketing & Branding Strategy
  • Support the Marketing & Communications team in designing campaigns that attract funding.
  • Develop promotional materials and engagement strategies for potential sponsors and investors.
  • Represent STEMlens Network at industry events, pitching funding opportunities.

5. Public Relations & Networking
  • Build STEMlens Network’s presence in the industry through networking and relationship-building.
  • Engage in high-level conversations with stakeholders to promote STEMlens’ mission and goals.
  • Establish partnerships with institutions and funding agencies to support STEM initiatives.

6. Product & Program Development
  • Collaborate with program managers to align educational initiatives with funding strategies.
  • Design innovative STEM programs that attract sponsorship and industry collaboration.
  • Lead the development of fundraising events, STEM competitions, and community engagements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fundraising, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, fundraising, or corporate partnerships.
  • Proven track record in securing sponsorships, managing grants, and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in marketing, public relations, and industry networking.
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising compliance and donor management.
